I was searching in stores for some type of storage for kids items in living area and could not find anything sturdy or in my colours. Decided to get these from local buy swap sell and upcycle it my way. Perfect and will last for years.
*Bondall water based Paint & varnish stripper
*Carbots cabothane clear satin varnish
*Dixie Belle Gel Stain - Au Naturel (external purchase)
*Ryobi multi tool and sanding pads
*Paint Brush
*Paint scraper
1. Removed handles
2. Stripped paint and varnish from drawers
3. Sanded the drawers to original finish
4. Applied 1 coat of stain
5. Applied 2 coats of varnish
6. Reattached handles and lined drawers with adhesive vinyl.

It's a refreshing transformation which gives the chest of drawers a fresh new look. The treatment of the handles to black is a very nice touch and gives a modern retro vibe.
