D.I.Y. drinks cabinet using cube and hairpin legs

I built this stylish drinks cabinet from a basic ikea cube. I added the pine moulding trim with glue to the front of the shelves, I primed and painted the entire piece in a matte black furniture paint, finally, I added the gorgeous hairpin legs.

Re: How to build a drinks cabinet

Hello @diycollection

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's magnificent to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your drinks cabinet project.

What a great way to repurpose those cabinets. It looks as if it was purpose-built and gives out a retro vibe with those gorgeous hairpin legs. Adding the pine moulding trim was a clever idea. Not only did it take away the boxy look of the cabinets, but it also hid the join lines. Which brand of matte black paint did you use for the cabinet? Was the cabinet covered in laminate or was it raw MDF timber? Any other information you can share about your build would be highly appreciated.

We look forward to seeing your next project.

Eric
