Hallway mirror from old dresser

To brighten and make a hallway seem longer , I found a old dresser mirror and cut it down to size with a small amount on one side lift to give the wall hieght and the mirror reflecting light. Then painted the wall a darker colour and the mirror painted white.

Re: Hallway mirror from old dresser

Hello @mick1959

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's amazing to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your hallway mirror project.

What a clever idea to place a dresser mirror at the end of your hallway. It certainly has the desired effect, as your hallway now looks twice as long. Can you please tell us the colour you used for your wall? The curve of the frame and the carvings really give you the impression that this mirror was custom framed just for the hallway.

Again thank you so much for sharing your fantastic hallway mirror project.

Eric

See something interesting? Give it the thumbs up!
