I would like to create some storage solutions for my home office. I have got a rough idea of the design (below) where I would like to store my everyday bags on the left of the room.
Room is 1.8m x3.2m.
I am not sure where to even start, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @eloise89,
The Kaboodle online planner would be a great place to start—it’ll let you map out the cabinetry based on your room’s exact measurements and visualise how everything will fit. If you’re able to draw a simple sketch of what you’re thinking, I’d be happy to put a plan together in the planner for you.
If your goal is to create something like the setup in your inspiration image, I can replicate that in the planner and let you know exactly which Kaboodle cabinetry components you’ll need to achieve the look. Just let me know the layout or upload your sketch when you're ready.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Yes I would like to do something like the one in my the inspiration image with 2 options where the floor to ceiling storage is one the left or right of the room.
And color scheme to be oak and white.
Hi @eloise89,
I've put together a rendering using the Kaboodle cabinetry and attached the price list. You can take these to your closest Bunnings store and have one of our Kitchen Design experts place the order for the parts for you. I've used some multi-purpose panels to create the nook above the desk and benchtop, but the nook might need to be custom-made if you want that thickness of timber. Also, you'll need to select an oak benchtop to suit.
The parts can easily be swapped to a left or right arrangement.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Thank you @MitchellMc this is wonderful.
I cannot quite see the price column in the price list. May I know how much would it cost?
Also what are the tools required for DIY?
Hello @eloise89
Please note that this is just a quote and must be confirmed by your stores in-store kitchen specialist. The kitchen specialist will confirm if the cabinets fit into your allocated space. Please be aware that this does not include the benchtop. There are various benchtops to choose from, I recommend visiting your local store so that you can see the colours and finishes of each one.
To assemble the cabinets, you'll need a cordless drill a drill bit set, a screwdriver and a level. Please note that the mounting screws you'll need will depend on the type of wall you have.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
