We have an older tophung style wardrobe door, with what i think is a double J style track, with 19mm rollers.
We recently installed new carpet, and as its a higher pile, i need to adjust the door height as its sitting ontop of the carpet. My issue is that when i try to adjust the door to its maximum adjustment, the top of the roller bracket hits the wardrobe header. Is there a lower porfile roller bracket, or do i just need to trim down the bottom of the doors?
Hello @Crash76
I propose trimming the bottom of the doors as this is the most expedient solution you can apply. The current set-up of your rails and rollers are good and moving them now will require you to do a great deal of adjustment and re-assembly. Unfortunately, there is no promise of clearance even after the adjustment, whereas trimming the bottom of the door means that the rails and rollers will behave as expected and there will be enough space at the bottom to clear the carpets.
