How to finish hallway wall panel corner neatly?

Hi everyone,

I’m about to install wall panels in my hallway, and there’s a corner where two panels will meet. I’d like the corner to look neat and clean.

Does anyone have recommendations for thin trims, corner strips, or clever ways to hide the joint neatly?

Re: How to finish hallway wall panel corner neatly?

Hi @Atoshi,

Thank you for your question about how to finish an external corner with VJ panels.

You might like to have a look at Easycraft's Recommended Finishing Options. They show three methods of finishing the panels without a trim by butt joining, mitring or rebating the sheets. All of these methods would require you to fill the seam with No More Gaps before painting.

You can also use a timber trim like this 30 x 30mm External Corner Rounded Edging or this 20 x 20mm External Corner Rounded Edging, or PVC mouldings like this Brutus 19 x 19 x 2.5mm PVC Building Moulding to sit over the corner and cover the join.

Any of these options will work; it just depends on what you want it to look like.

I would be happy to offer further guidance on any of these methods if you require.

Let me know what you think.

Jacob
