How to fix a plastic roller catch?

Hi everyone,

May I ask how can I fix a loose plastic roller catch? The U-shaped metal piece that keeps the roller catch tight is broken, and I'm not sure where can I buy the replacement metal piece. I've attached photos of the broken metal piece and a functional roller catch for reference.

Thank you in advance!

Re: How to fix a plastic roller catch?

Hi @noooooidea,

Unfortunately, you're going to struggle to find a suitable replacement part for your rollers.

It is likely going to be easier to just replace the catch altogether. The Taskmaster Zinc Double Roller Catch will function much the same, and they are fairly cheap.

You might be able to just replace the catch if the piece on the door slots into it. If not, then you could just replace both parts.

Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Jacob

Thank you for the advice @JacobZ ! I'll look into how should I replace the roller and possibly the door piece.
