Hi experts,
the side panels which connects with bed head broke down. Before I try DIY, I thought to ask the experts here.
I am attaching the pictures to help articulate the joints which needs fixing.
The Bedset doesn’t look solid wood.
please take a look at the pictures.
Thanks,
MK

Hello @mk1
I suggest examining the screws holding the bed brackets in place. If it can be replaced with longer and bigger screws to resecure it to the bed post, then that would be one solution to consider. If the bed bracket is broken, I suggest looking at the Taskmaster 120 x 40mm Bed Bracket - 4 Set which is similar to what you currently have on your bed, or the Hafele Bed Bracket Set which is a more robust bracket. Both brackets can be screwed to the same location, my best advice is to make sure that you have the side frame at the correct height should you use a new set of brackets.

Hello @EricL ,
thank you very much for your response. I have purchased the recommended TaskMaster, however I tried the screws from the new packet while using the exisiting brackets and in existing holes .
However noticed that the bracket has a bit of movement/play.
Shall I do new holes (on all 4 sides) or use the same holes with some gorilla glue to have strong joint.
the new screws are longer than previous ones but with same width.

Hello @EricL
thanks for your suggestion, I guess my mistake in previous attempt was that I was using machine screwdriver to screw the bolt and the wood was soft that it was loosening in the end.
I have done the holes with few mm gap to previous ones and tighten the screws with manual screw driver.
it is perfect now.
thank you very much for your advice.
