Hi,
Need some guidance to fix the gap between my door and interior wall. Interior wall is a brick wall. What can I use to fill it?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Muhammad1. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about filling a gap.
You can definitely use a standard interior gap filler to close up the gap between the door frame and the wall. However, I can also see that there's quite a bit of paint around the area that's starting to delaminate. It would be a good idea to sort that out first for the best finish.
I’d recommend chipping off any loose paint, patching the area with a plaster filler, sanding it smooth, then applying a primer before repainting. Once that’s done, you can fill the gap itself with a flexible gap filler and smooth it off with a damp finger or a scraper.
It sounds like a bit of work, but it’ll give you a much cleaner and longer-lasting result.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
