How to fix my vertical blind?

Hi, is there an expert here who can offer some suggestions on how to repair my vertical blinds please?

I have several broken hook clips on my vertical blinds, but I don't know the brand and I'm having trouble finding information on how to fix them. Two broken clips belong to the wand piece, and one belongs to the slat piece.

What is the quickest / easiest way to fix these?

Thank you.

Re: How to fix my vertical blind with parts from Bunnings

Hi @QL,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community it is wonderful to have you with us and many thanks for your question about repairing your vertical blinds.

The part that runs along the rail is called a carrier, and the piece that drops down from the carrier to connect to the blind is called a stem. Unfortunately, our vertical blind systems are sold as one unit, and these parts are not available for purchase separately.

If you could identify the brand and it was one of ours, I could see if spare parts are available.

Unfortunately, I think it is likely you will have to either replace the blinds as a whole system or speak with someone who specialises in blind repairs for their advice on where to procure these parts.

You might like to check out Can I replace this vertical blind carrier stem with parts from Bunnings, as the discussion is similar and it offers some solutions.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob

Re: How to fix my vertical blind?

Hi @QL,

Search for 'vertical blind carrier'.

Here is one to get started.

Cheap enough to buy a few and check if one fits and if not try again.

Good luck
