How to install privacy curtains without drilling?

Hi! I am planning to renovate the living room into a personal space in a shared home. I need ideas on how to increase my privacy in the shared space. Where can i find curtains that are soundproof and blocks light too? Also where can i find really tall room dividers?

You might like to consider using a Windoware 70 - 120cm Spring Fit Curtain Rod for the hallway and a Windoware 130 - 244cm White Springfit Rod for the kitchen opening. They are expanding rods and do not require any permanent fixtures. I recommend using blockout curtains, which will provide the best light protection. As the hallway is full height to the ceiling, you might need to install a second rod and curtain at the top to cover the space.

Curtains alone won't provide any significant sound reduction. We offer a large range of room dividers, which could give some moderate sound insulation by reflective sound waves. However, sound tends to transfer through any small gaps, so you would need to ensure those are covered.

Do you need to use the hallway to access the area? If not, a semi-permanent wall could be created using sound insulation panels.

i have been able to install the curtains. I need another help, any idea how I could install ceiling curtains? I am renting, so I dont want to drill. Will any self adhesive ceiling curtain tracks will be able to hold sheer curtains?

I'm sorry, but I am currently not aware of a ceiling mounted curtain holder that can be fixed in place just by using adhesive. I propose reconsidering Mitchell's suggestion of using room dividers to give you the privacy you're after.
