How to make B22 lampshade fit lamp's E27 socket holder?

Is there a way to ADAPT it to fit a lamp with an E22 socket?  I am told it may be possible with an adapter? How does it work? Can I buy one of those adapter things?

Hello @MaxBrenner 

If you are installing the shade onto an existing lamp the only adapter I am aware of is the Brilliant Lighting Black ES to BC Shade Adapter. I propose checking your lamp connector and locking ring first to make sure that you need to install an adapter. 

Please make sure to practice safe installation procedures, make sure the lamp is unplugged before you start removing the locking ring.
