Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Nimratbajwa. It's fabulous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about kids toy storage.
It looks like what you’re showing in your images is mostly prefabricated storage units rather than DIY-built furniture. Those units are probably much more budget-friendly than buying timber and constructing them yourself, especially when you consider the tools and skills involved. To build something like that, you’d need a circular saw to cut everything to size, and there’s a fair amount of joinery involved, which can be tricky if you’re not experienced. Check out the amazing range of kids toy storage from our Marketplace suppliers.
For example, the units in your first image are very similar to our CleverCube storage solutions, including the 4x4 cube and 4x1 cube setups with material inserts. If you want something like the top unit in your images, you could purchase it off the shelf and have it assembled in under an hour, which is a huge time saver.
If you did want to build them yourself, I would point you to the step-by-step guide on How to build a kids craft table with storage, which shows a way to build something very similar to what you’re after. Just keep in mind that building these yourself is quite an extensive project and could take several days, and the material cost alone would probably be more than buying the prefabricated units.
So while DIY is a fun option if you want a custom build, there are some really convenient, budget-friendly options available that let you have organised storage ready to go in just a few hours. Recently, we needed toy storage for my son's room. Two hours later and I had picked up Clever Cube units and assembled them.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
