How to make aluminium sliding windows draught and noise proof?

We have a new house with aluminium sliding windows, and we've noticed that even after closing, the windows still seem to move slightly. Additionally, outdoor noise remains quite noticeable when the windows are shut. I suspect there may be gaps. Are there any seals or solutions we can use to address this

Re: Aluminium Sliding windows draught and noise proof

Hello @foxhound

Thanks for sharing your question about your sliding windows. The store carries a variety of window seals just for this situation you've described. I suggest measuring the gaps between the window and the frame, so you'll get a good idea what seal thickness you'll need to get. Once you have your measurements, I suggest visiting the store and seeing which seal suits you best.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
