We are hoping to remove the existing slate in the living room of our new place and replace the slate with as close a match as possible to the floorboards in the rest of the house. The previous owners sanded back and stained the floorboards, and we like the new colour stain so are hoping to match that too.
Fist photo is the photo of the floorboard's pre-stain- can someone help to identify a match that we coud purchase in terms of floorboard material and the second is a pictureoriginal floorboards

Hello @Reneedock
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about floorboards.
I'm sorry but mobile photos can't be used as a colour reference for colour matching. If you have a piece of the timber flooring still with you, I propose bringing it to your local store and looking at the floor stain sample board. I also recommend speaking to the paint specialist for their expert opinion. I've placed a sample colour range from Feast Watson just to give you an idea of the stains that are available. I also recommend showing your timber sample piece to the trade team so that they can identify what type of flooring you have.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
