Hello @PetaThomson

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about painting your door handles.

Your door handle appears to be made of metal. In order to paint it properly it will need to be sanded down and a primer will need to be sprayed on its surface. After that you can then use your choice of top coat for the handle.

However, I would like to show you an affordable replacement handle - Prestige Brushed Nickel Flush Pull. Being a brushed finish, it does not need to be painted and can be installed directly to your door.

Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How To Paint Metal

Hello @PetaThomson

I'm afraid you'll need to paint your door handle as the set I suggested is just ever so slightly smaller. The only one that might work is a bigger handle such as the Lockwood 145 x 40mm Flush Pull. Please note that this handle needs to be specially ordered at the special orders desk.

Thank you so much I have been searching the internet for some time.  I will try painting them as I have 14 to do. I looked at the one you showed me but the specs are out.   Thank you so much I will let you know how I go.  We are weary luckily to have such wonderful people to ask questions off especially in your paint section.
