rusty screws removal please
Hello @Johnnyred
If the screw heads have deteriorated, I suggest using the IRWIN 3 Piece Screw Extractor Set 1876224. However, before attempting to remove the screw, I suggest getting a rag and soaking one end with WD40 and placing it over the rusted screw to drench it. Once the screw has been totally soaked in WD40 you can then begin using the extractor set.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi @Johnnyred,
Here is one way.
Removing 'frozen' Philips head screws from framework.
Spray lubricant and butane torch.
I spray the screw area then heat with torch 1-2 seconds.
There will be a bit of gentle burn-off for a few seconds and while that's happening I get ready with the screwdriver to remove.
No issues removing all of them and when I finished that bowl was full of screws with brackets.
Cheers
