How to stain Acacia timber panel?

I have purchased the brown-acacia-multi-use-panels and I am keen to know what the stain is so I can purchase to put on the cure area's of the wood.

Re: How to stain Acacia timber panel?

Hello @sjw1au

Thank you for your patience. The coating applied to these products during the manufacturing process is not something available in-store. However, I can suggest looking at the Cabots Natural decking oil and the Cabots Oil based maple interior stain from the Cabots stains range that should give you a close match. I'd encourage you to speak with our paint experts in-store to see if they can do a test section on your cut ends. Please bear in mind that stains cuts end will always give a slightly difference appearance to a coating applied during the manufacturing process, so it's best to try to face the cut end towards walls if possible.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
