Hi, I've bought 2 x Rimu Drawers that I want to do up. The below photo is the same design / wood / size etc, just not MY drawers as they are in storage.
They are a bit too dark and orange toned and so I want to sand and refinish them, but want to get the colour within the realm of the below kind of colours. Still a liiiittle warm but much softer. I don't want grey or cool toned, or white washed.
Would I be looking at bleaching and then using a furniture oil to achieve something like this? I've never flipped furniture or anything similar before. I'm a bit lost on what to do. Any advice is welcome!
