Living room converted to library

Plain sitting room transferred to a cosy sitting area with Lugna cabinets. Lots of measuring needed but great results

Lugna cabinets and trim and over lights

Steps

Step 1

Measured many times. Drew project with different size cabinets until happy.

Step 2

Used the larger of the cabinets to support the top cabinet when installing.

Trimmed the bottom of the cabinets with a trim to look like one continuous flow then added lights to the top to shine down.

Step 3

Added books used fillers buttons to hide different holes on the inside of the cabinets.

What an amazing transformation! You've done a sensational job of turning a plain sitting room into a cozy and inviting area. Great idea to use larger cabinets to support the top one and the trim really sells the look. The top lighting adds a warm and welcoming ambience to the space.
