I recently turned an unused room upstairs into a second lounge/ retreat. I had a vision of making it feel warm and cozy, a place to just chill and relax. I was able to achieve this mood with selective furnishings and a dark feature wall.
Steps
Step 1
I attached a 1200 x 2400 sheet of Easycraft primed wall lining to the wall using metal screws into the studs. (We have steel framing in our home).

Step 2
Next, I attached moulding on top using constructive adhesive and a few screws into the studs.

Step 3
Once everything was attached to the wall, I used gap filler to fill the screw holes and along the top of the moulding. Once dried, I sanded it smooth.

Step 4
Next was the fun part, painting!
I started by cutting in with a trims brush along all the edges, corners and inbetween the grooves of the paneling and then I did the rest with a roller. The colour I used is called Namadji by Dulux.
I did 3 coats.

Step 5
Last step was sitting back and enjoying. 🍷
