hi im new to painting and not sure how to paint an ikea wardrobe my sister wants me to paint black. on the site it says its made of particle board and paper foil for most of it and the backing is fibreboard and paper foil and im just not sure how to do it. i dont know if i should sand it first or not and im just not sure what to do so any help will be appreciated.

I'm sorry but I am not familiar with the Brimes cabinet. I suggest contacting the manufacturer in regards to the process of painting the surface.
Generally speaking, the process involves sanding the surface, cleaning the surface, priming the surface and then covering it with a top coat. But some steps might not apply to this cabinet or rather there are extra steps that we are not aware of. It would best to contact the manufacturer as they will tell you the steps to paint the cabinet.
