Opening up an internal bathroom

Bathroom adjoins master bedroomBathroom adjoins master bedroomCut and installed New diffuser bought at bunningsCut and installed New diffuser bought at bunnings

Unusual internal bathroom in 1990s house..has been made over probably 15 years back..tooooo many mirrors and feels small for main and only bathroom.

Plan to create 2nd bathroom in laundry downstairs eventually.

No window only leaking skylight.

After this was fixed and diffuser installed, replaced sink with square glass one covering water stains on laminex top,

Played around with the gold framed mirror.

Regrouted and re siliconed area...more to do in shower stall.

Repainted.

Plan to move shower fittings to opposite side of shower so I can do away with screen

Repainted cupboards.. sanded the exploding doors and they now look ok .

This bathroom adjoins the master bedroom so acts as ensuite. There is a separate toilet upstairs

Knocked out wall above spa bath to create light and space from the bedroom ...currently have installed venetion blind..plantation shutters to come.

Still work to do but getting there.

Feels a much larger space now with plenty of natural light

Excellent project, @Carmel1955

I trust you are thrilled with the results. Such a remarkable difference from what you started with. Did you run into any issues along the way or have any particular successes?

Many thanks for sharing your incredible work.

Thanks Mitchell...luckily only lost wiring to one electric plug in the wall....have done this in the lounge room downstairs and run into issues with wiring.. . the bathroom side was fully covered in a mirror... we  taped it up and cut thru from bedroom side..success...yes we are very happy with result and so much brighter now...hard to take pictures in the confined space though.....cheers
