Painted wall arches

20230523_163559.jpg

I wanted to add some colour to my daughter's room, so I painted wall arches on one wall.

Materials

Dulux paint, Lama shade.

Scotch multi-surface painter's tape.

Tools

Hilti laser level.

Steps

Step 1

First I cleaned the wall with sugar soap.

I measured how tall I wanted the arches and set up the laser. I added the painter's tape horizontal line where I wanted the arches to start.

Step 2

I draw the arches using a plate. I marked the middle line with the tape on the plate, so the arches are all the same size.

Step 3

I painted the wall using roller and arches using paint brush. I did two coats.

Re: Painted wall arches

Hello @H3nna

Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful project. It adds so much character to the walls, it's like having your own picket fence inside the room. That was an excellent use of the laser level and I'm sure it made it so much easier to line up the tape.

We look forward to seeing your next project.

Eric

Re: Painted wall arches

Thank you 😊 Indeed the laser level made it easier to line up the tape straight. Such a great tool.
