Repurposed screen bedhead

My home of furnished and finished with second hand, found and salvaged goods.
This screen bed head was on my family home, an early 1900’s build, when we moved there in the 80’s. My dad gifted it to me, a few years ago, and it found its place here. Pure linen bedding sourced from op shops, as are the vintage macrame owl and acrylic paintings. The green doily craft, I created from op shopped treasures, many years ago.

I really like the idea of reusing objects, and I did not realise that your bedhead was a screen door at first! Nice outside the box thinking. I love how an object has a "story" to it, where you found it, where its lived tucked aeway until it finaly finds its destination spot. Even to negotiating for the part at a market.
