Upcyled bedside tables

Hello

Awhile ago I asked for some help with up cycling some furniture and received some great advice. Adding to this the help I got from Kath & Kim at Shepparton Bunnings and below are the finished products. I am now on a mission to do other pieces and to try some decoupage.

Thanks everyone for your help from a very happy novice and my helper, he shows up examining the furniture from the inside.

Green one

Completely sanded back - ahh what fun

Top - Cabothane clear varnish gloss x 3 coats

Base - Dulux water base trim enamel interior semi gloss x 2 coats

Plum one (a pair done)

Light sand to body

Precoat ultra coat primer sealer to base x 1 coat

Top - Cabothane clear varnish matt x 3 coats

Base - Dulux designer chalk x 3 coats

Base - Dulux clear top coat x 3 coats

Not a lot of sanding but lots of coats of paint to get the finish I liked. Lots of time for the coats to set and cure too.

Re: Upcyled bedside tables

Hello @Puddin

Thank you very much for posting the results of your upcycle effort. Those drawer side tables look beautiful and the top finish looks flawless. It's always handy to have a helper even the feline kind.

We look forward to seeing your next project.

Eric
