What feet for cube storage?

Hi, could I please have some advice on adding feet to this unit to make into a hall table, do I need to add one to the centre to stop it bowing in the middle?  And what type of feet could I used I would like gold. Thank you!

Re: What feet for cube storage?

That sounds like a great idea for turning your cube storage into a hall table @joanneeadie. How high are you hoping the finished table to be? I’m assuming you’ll be laying the unit on its side, which makes it about 760mm high, so knowing your desired height will help suggest the right legs.

Since these cube units aren’t usually designed to be supported on legs, I’d definitely recommend adding a centre leg for extra support to prevent the middle from bowing over time.

I’m not aware of any gold or brass-coloured legs currently in our range, but you could use another style, such as the 110mm hairpin furniture legs, and spray paint them gold for the look you want.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: What feet for cube storage?

Hi Mitchell, thanks for replying. I’m not too worried about the height to be honest I’m open to any suggestions, I could just spray paint some and I’ll definitely add a centre leg!
