Hi there!
My bedrooms are carpeted and i would love to rip em out and put in floorboards. I've had a peak and its concrete underneath the carpets. What type of flooring would you recommend using to do this?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @JacquiLoh. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about flooring.
There are a few options you could consider for concrete subfloors. Hybrid floorboards or tiles are both feasible choices, depending on the look and feel you want. It will also depend on how level the concrete is, as some preparation may be needed before installation. Hybrid floorboards are particularly popular these days because they’re relatively easy to install over concrete and give the warmth of timber without the issues of solid timber over a slab.
Was there something you had in mind?
