hey guys I'm planning on building a halfpipe in my backyard I'm thinking of building it 8 feet wide, 4 feet tall, and 27 feet long.
what would be my cheapest options for materials? I already have the pipe for the coping.

Sounds like an amazing project! I don't believe we've had any members previously share a halfpipe project before. Do you have any plans already that you are going to follow? I see some skateboarding sites like this one have plans.
@ProjectPete - any thoughts on this in regards to materials?
