This is the second out door table I have built for the BBQ area at my home.
The table is constructed of two types of timber.
The top is made of Larch ( wat some people call New Zealand Oregon).
The legs and rails are made of Pine.
The top does not have gaps between the slats as the last table had.
The top has a 12 mm timber bead between each slat.
Th finish the table I have stained the bead between the slats and the leg assemblies with Feast & Weston Japan Brown Stain.
The final finish is Feast & Weston clear satin varnish / polyurethane.
The legs of this table are fixed in position.
That's an amazing-looking table, @GeoffB. I particularly like the design you've gone with on this one. The edge detail is beautiful. How did you achieve it?
