Backyard pool and outdoor dining

We purchased a maisonette with a small, grassed backyard and old decked alfresco area.

The vision was to build a backyard oasis with a plunge pool and new decking that we would extend out over the pool.

Most of the materials used were purchased through Bunnings, Eko Deck, Blue board fence panels, Dulux Fine Texture paint, etc.

Outside of the pool build & tiling, all other landscaping was completed by the homeowner.

What an incredible transformation. The backyard has gone from a simple, modest outdoor space to a stunning retreat that feels like a private resort. The combination of the plunge pool, elegant decking, and lush greenery creates a sense of calm and luxury, while the clean modern lines and thoughtful material choices make the area feel beautifully cohesive. The Eko Deck and Dulux Fine Texture paint add a refined touch that ties everything together perfectly. It’s especially impressive that so much of the landscaping and finishing work was done by the homeowner the attention to detail and craftsmanship really shine through. It’s a space that invites relaxation and outdoor living at its best.
