Can I install a barbecue on a countertop?

hi all,

i have a small balcony that i was thinking of putting a mini fridge and bbq on. I have found the counter top with built in fridge and bbq. wanted to know if anyone can see problems i will run into. is it safe to put a bbq on top of a fridge counter like this one? Will the heat off the bbq cause me headaches?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about installing a barbecue on a countertop.

I'm familiar with the BeefEater brand and you can see from the photo that it can be installed on a countertop. However, in regards to the countertop itself, I suggest contacting the manufacturer and finding out if the countertop of the mini fridge is capable of handling the heat of the BeefEater BBQ. The possible consequences are heating damage to the surface, burn marks and melted surface sections due to heat exposure.
