The dregs of paint from secondhand paint cans. Old wooden boxes from hard rubbish. An acquired expression of interest throw out garden bed from local council with awnings. Some paint brushes. Grit and good humor with snacks. Local consultation with stakeholders like a body corporate and a owners committee. Tenacity. Plants. Lots of other random things from bunnings like nails and wheels (to move the boxes if needed).

Steps
Step 1
Look at the facility with utter disgust and disarray with slight pessimism. Then start painting just to see if your arms work....


Step 2
Then grab a hardwood box someone threw out and with great optimism that we could grow something edible out of it.....put wheels on it and start painting it!


Step 3
Paint more. Fill one box in with dirt and plants. Look for plastic pots and more plants. Start another wooden box. Painting waves to reflect local surf culture. Grab magazine clips for inspiration


Step 4
Build yourself some shade so you are not burnt by the harsh Australian sun. Keep painting a white canvas....


Step 5
Grab some locals. And some snacks to entice locals to help paint.....keep painting.....




Step 6
Get some locals to help move giant wooden planters that were at the local tip........keep painting.....

Step 7
Invite some locals to come have a look.......

Step 8
Get someone to help you assemble all the wooden boxes and ornings.....KEEP PAINTING.....




Step 9
Fill boxes with dirt and plants....


Step 10
Stand back ....your nearly done....re arrange garden, especially with wheels to enhance Feng Shui.
