Concrete spalling

Hi, joined the platform today. Please suggest some pointers on what my options are to stop/repair the concrete spalling I’m experiencing on one section of my house slab? Indications are that the previous owner did some patching several year’s ago.

I’ve attached some photos.

Re: Concrete spalling

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @elbe43. Many thanks for your question, I'd be happy to assist.

I'd advise the removal of any render that is remaining and then apply a coat of Bondcrete to seal and bind the surface. Once the surface has been prepared you should then trowel on Dunlop 20kg Fine Coat Render. You can tint the render with an oxide to achieve your desired finish colour.  Here's a helpful step-by-step D.I.Y. tutorial on how to render which I trust you'll find useful in the process.

Please let me know if you need further assistance or had questions on the process.
