Outdoor living priority number one.

Building our own off-grid home. My first DIY building project. My husbands 1st in 30 years.

Footings, bearers & joists from Dalby Bunnings ..... will last a lifetime or 2.

Merbau decking boards have received so many compliments, as has our job of laying them. Working around irregular tree posts has been a challenging yet rewarding task.

Currently installing our Kaboodle kitchen, waterproofing our bathroom & waiting on ordered bathroom tiles.

Hard work done. Ready to enjoy

What a corker of a deck! Those posts are amazing, and I love that you've incorporated them. As you've mentioned, working with finished timber would have been easier, but you wouldn't have achieved the same results. You've done a splendid job, and I trust you are really proud of your efforts.
