Hi there,
about to put in some everhard easy drains when my patio slab is laid in my courtyard. Something I’m unsure of is, do I use solvent cement when connecting to the pvc pioe as the drain is made from recycled polymer.
another question I had. When connecting a shortened section I cut down to a corner piece it sits in the perfectly but there are no clips to keep it in there. Is there something I’m missing or does it just stay there like this ?
thanks.
Hi @bow2021,
When connecting a PVC pipe to your Everhard drains, there is not need to use solvent cement. Simply press fit the PVC pipe, then seal around it with silicone.
You can see the EasyDRAIN Installation Instructions and EVERHARD EasyDRAIN Installation Instruction Video for further guidance.
For joining any cut sections of your EasyDRAIN, there are Everhard EasyDRAIN Converters. Similarly to the PVC pipe connection, you will press the ends together and then seal with silicone.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
