Hi everyone, I have this section of my bay window chipping away and am worried about being vulnerable to water damage. What's the best way to fix this up? I've also included a photo of the inside which I think I need to patch.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Echo8848. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing render.
You might like to check out this helpful guide: How to repair a rendered wall. It will take you through the process of fixing the outside. I'd then recommend you run a bead of sealant between the top of the render and the window trim to ensure this area is sealed. There's currently a large gap there, which is likely where the water is accessing the wall.
On the inside, you should sand the compromised paint back and apply a couple of coats of a water-based enamel to the area.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
