How do I fix the metal post of this side gate to a brick wall?

Hi Guys, I’ve been trying to fix the post of this side gate for ages. I’ve tried dyna bolts but over time they eventually it wears loose and creates a bigger hole in the mortar. Is there an adhesive that will hold the metal post tight agains the wall without drilling more holes. Really appreciate any thoughts anyone has on this. Cheers Stevel1

I feel your pain of a gate post.

If you want to glue it try

Sika 310ml Brick Red Sikaflex Pro+ Polyurethane Sealant

I/N: 0083592

$23.22

This sticks cement buildings together use it in a thick double bead top to bottom.

First task , Before you glue post to wall push your old dyna into the wall or pull then out complety and gluing into wall with the pro+ as back up glue

Ramset Nylon Wallmate Anchors - 20 Pack I/N: 2260083 $11.28

You will need some 75mm wood screws to go through 50 mm post into the new wall anchors and some small washer to go on screw heads in case they to small and pull through post holes.

Grab the free sika nozzles at bunnings as they are extra fat and non standard to other nozzles

Sounds like some great advice from @Jewelleryrescue. How many fixings are in the post? You might like to try the Sika products and the new Wallmate anchors. I'd recommend you have at least four anchors.
