I’m pulling up old decking and replacing with pavers. Unfortunately it creates a big step down from the back door to the ground level. Is building a few brick steps a difficult task for someone who has never done it?

Hello @AilsW1
It appears to be a hybrid type of bamboo flooring. You can clearly see where the bamboo stops, and the other timber material begins. So, it is safe to say that it is not solid bamboo flooring. However, I can't tell if it is glued on or if there is underlay underneath.

Hi Eric here are some other photos that might make it easier to tell.
Hello @AilsW1
We can technically eliminate adhesives as there are no glue residues on the panel and none of the panels bottom cover has been removed due to glue stripping. It's possible that the white material we are looking at is the underlay of the floor.

Thanks Eric, That’s the concrete floor
Eric is there such a thing as laminate is cut and stuck on top of wood and is purchased per sq metre like that? and the slats all lay like a bamboo floor? I always think of laminate as the old fashioned linoleum type stuff. I’ve seen some floors made of timber looking, thick linoleum but that’s what makes working out what my floor is called so difficult. I’ve had one person say it’s hybrid and another say it’s laminate.
Hello @AilsW1
If you are referring to the HanWood 5mm Aquila Sands SPC Hybrid Waterproof Flooring then yes, it can be purchased by the box, and each box roughly covers an area of 2.64 square meters. From an installation point of view, it would be better to remove your old flooring so that there will be no door adjustment issues. If the floor is even, then the Hybrid flooring can be installed directly over the concrete.
