Have used Gardena water controllers for 8 + years. 6 months ago I upgraded to new ' Master 1892 Water Controller' and set schedule (programme) for 6 outlets, all working fine ! Now I need to change number of days to turn same scedule on / off over winter. Operator manual say's, simple ! I feel that if I can add a schedule with same times but only 2 days per week, I can just change schedules every winter / summer as required. Problem- I can't find how to navigate to schedules so I can add a new one. Getting totally frustrated, is there anybody out there who can point me in the right direction ?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @gelew. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about programming a Garden water controller.
I've spoken to the Garden technical team and the unit does not have an option to have two separate schedules saved, which you could switch between every winter and summer. You would need to reprogram the unit for the change in seasons. However, if you kept the same schedule, you could limit its operation. If you go into Menu > Seasonal run time, it will allow you to take the summer program and switch it to run a percentage of it. So, say you run seven days a week in summer, come winter, you could reduce that schedule down to 20%. It will still run daily, but only for 20% of the time you ran it in summer. If the cycles were ten minutes, it would run for two minutes.
If you need further assistance, I highly recommend you contact the Gardena technical team directly at Ph: 13300 804 213. They are very knowledgeable about their water controllers.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mitchell, I am so glad to have a response to my query re my Gardena 1892 Master Water controller !!
I see your post was made quite a time back, I apologise I did not respond more quickly. In the time I made the post and this response I finally came to YOUR conclusion that I cannot have two seperate schedules saved.
Your reply has given me faith in myself, I was doubting myself heavily. I slowed myself down and went back to the Operating manual and have now re programmed, via the Menu item : Water Distributor - Auto - ie , I have kept the same start and run times but now have them on only two days per week. This was the request made by my wife who is ' the gardener' and I am the back up tech guy who chose this system originally. I must say that I did a lot of research originally to come up with the Gardena System using the Automatic Water Distributor and have been very happy for the last 8 + years . This system at the time was only available at Bunnings and that is naturally where I went now to check out my upgrade. I also have to say that I have two systems, one for front garden ( 5 stations) and rear Garden ( 6 Stations ) Now that I have sorted the front garden I will upgrade the rear Master Controller and hopefully have at least another 8 years or more of garden watering bliss.
I really appreciate the information you have given me and specially a contact at Gardenia.
I will keep my eye on the Bunnings Community Workshop as the appear to a multitude.
