How to add smart lock to a pool gate?

Hi,

I'd love to add a smart wifi lock to an outdoors pool gate but am unsure if Bunnings has anything or how to do this. There isnt an actual pool in the garden and id just like to be able to remotely lock/unlock it.

Need something waterproof and not really sure how to attach it. The gate opens inwards so perhaps something on the inside with a deadbolt that moves across might work.

Hi @Bob9,

Thank you for your question about installing a smart lock on your gate.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of a Wi-Fi-enabled lock that you could use in this application.

There are locks such as this Lane Black Digital Gate Lock that are opened with a PIN code, but I have not come across a gate lock that is Wi-Fi enabled.
