Hi there, I’ve searched but found nothing on making a bench seat using hebel.., does anyone know if this is a strong enough material to make one please?

Our members might need a few more details about your project to provide helpful responses. If you were intending to build up the sides with Hebel and then have larger unsupported pieces of Hebel horizontally between the sides then no it would not be suitable. Hebel has great compression resistance when weight is placed on top of supported blocks. When it is only supported on the ends and weight is placed in the middle it breaks quite easily.
If you were able to draw a sketch of what you had in mind I trust our members will be able to advise on Hebels suitability.
