hi I want to make concrete step here, will that stick to tile behind or concrete step not possible here. If posdible please tell how to make concrete step here to land in garden
Hi @Houseproject07,
Could you please confirm if the concrete step will simply act as a landing pad at the same level as your lawn or other surface in this area? If so, it’s much the same process as creating a small concrete slab, and you could certainly do that there, provided it’s at least 150mm thick. It could sit directly under the edge of the patio area to create a smooth transition down to the garden.
Alternatively, once you’ve finished your exterior surface, whether it’s lawn, paving, or gravel, you might like to use a few pavers bedded into the soil directly below the edge of the patio instead. That would form a simple, cost-effective step without the need for a full concrete pour.
If you can share a few more details about how and where you’d like to create this step, I’m sure the helpful members of the community will be able to offer more tailored suggestions.
Here’s a handy guide on How to pour a concrete slab to get you started.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
