I would like to create an outdoor kitchen in this space maybe an L shaped with a half wall of units on the garden side perhaps would love some ideas please.
The first important thing to note is that most pre-built cabinet kitchen systems, @Jersey1975, including ranges like Kaboodle, are designed to be installed in fully enclosed, weather-protected areas. They are not manufactured or warranted for use where they are exposed to rain, humidity, or ongoing moisture. Even if you were to enclose the rear of the cabinetry, add a benchtop, and carefully seal everything, there is still a real risk of water finding its way into the cabinets over time. Because of this, Kaboodle does not support or warrant installations in exposed outdoor environments, particularly along open garden-facing walls.
If you are keen on an L-shaped layout with a half wall facing the garden, a purpose-built outdoor kitchen is a much safer and more durable option. Outdoor kitchen systems are designed specifically for these conditions, using weather-resistant cabinetry, stainless steel components, and materials that can cope with temperature changes and moisture. These systems also tend to integrate barbecues and prep space very well, which suits the way most people use an outdoor kitchen.
I would encourage you to take a look at the Matador range of outdoor kitchens, as they are designed for exposed outdoor use and can be configured in layouts similar to what you are describing. They can give you that L shape without the worry of long-term damage. From there, you could personalise the space with a suitable outdoor benchtop, overhead shelter like a pergola or awning for extra protection, and some thoughtful lighting to make it a really inviting area to cook and entertain.
Something like the Matador Ignite+ 6 Burner Gas BBQ Kitchen could fit nicely in the open space.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
