Hello @jkaur
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your fencing.
Before you begin, I suggest checking the rules and regulations of your local council in regards to the maximum height your fence can be built to. In this manner you can be confident that you are building to regulation height. If you are referring to the ProtectorAl 2350 x 308mm Black Aluminium Slat Screen Kit, it can be held in place by using 70x35 timber pieces screwed onto the rails or post of your fence.
I suggest doing some measurements first to make sure that the screen can be anchored properly. As for the screws, I suggest using Zenith 10 - 8 x 75mm Treated Pine Countersunk Head Screws - 50 Pack to hold the vertical timber in place.
Let me call on our experienced member @Dave-1 for his recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Good Evening @jkaur
First step would be to check with your local council regarding what types/height and spacing you can have for your fences as @EricL has suggested.
Second step would be to meausure the distance between the posts and also the rails of your existing fence.
Then you can have a look at what will fit your fence (I like @EricL 's suggestion as its clean and functional)
The profile of the top of your fence looks interesting but I really dont have enough from your photo to suggest anything. Because its so short before teh rail you could run into problems installing on the side of the post so you may need to go with some sort of extension of the post (your side looking in the yard out). Will wait for some more pics and measurements.
