Hi workshop team,
Would it be possible to change the patio lock?
At the moment, it requires a key to lock, as shown in the photo.
I’d prefer to have one that can be locked without a key.

Most standard sliding screen door locks will typically have a keyed lock. However, you could install a Yale Unity Security Screen Door Lock Matt Black YUR/SSDL/1/MBK, which allows access with the Yale Home APP, Yale Contactless Key Tags, or, if upgraded, the Yale Smart Keypad.

Yes, the Yale lock is designed for a sliding door.
The lock you've just pictured functions similarly to your current lock. It requires a key to lock it, or you can lock it with the switch tab. Is the switch locking mechanism working on your current lock? To answer your question, you'd need to take the current lock in so our team in-store can verify whether it will be a direct replacement.
