What is the best way to connect the discharge outlet of a sump pump (e.g. 25mm - yet to buy it) to tee into a 90mm stormwater pipe?
The sump container is under the house in the crawl space collecting built up water from a French drain along the footings.
The 25mm outlet line will be run through the brickwork and run down towards the nearest downpipe
Hello @seano87
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your sump pump connection.
Just a friendly reminder that any plumbing works or connections to be made to your stormwater pipe must be carried out by a licensed plumber for safety and compliance.
It's probable that the plumber will be using a Holman 90mm 45-degree Female To Female PVC Stormwater Junction along with a Holman 90 x 75 x 65 x 50 x 40mm Storm PVC Stepped Adaptor. Now if you have a soft pipe, they might use a 25mm barbed fitting to join onto the PVC. But if you have a solid line fitting, they will probably use a Philmac fitting or similar. It all depends on the type of pipe you'll be using.
