pipe coming out on wall is connected to laundry sink trap. The drainage outlet on ground is oval shape. Is there any way to connect laundry outlet pipe to ground drainage or is there grate in bunnings to cover that oval shaped drainage.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @sun123. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about covering outside drainage.
A plumber could likely remove the oval-shaped outlet and connect the laundry pipework directly into the main line, instead of the water falling into it. Given the wet patch and due to the volume, it appears the water might be overshooting the outlet and landing on the gravel. This type of drop outlet would typically be used for a floor waste that seldom captures water. A sink trap should really be a hard connection to the main line. As a simpler solution, the plumber might be able to cut back the pipe, connect a 90-degree bend and a short section of pipe down into the outlet to ensure water enters it. They might then be able to fill around the pipe and the top of the outlet with cement filler to neaten the appearance and connection.
There's no grate I am aware of that would cover an oval-shaped drainage outlet. The issue with a grate is that water hits it and splashes off into the surrounding area.
