How to deal with split system aircon condensate?

Hi there, I have a split system aircon unit that is dripping the condensate outside my front door. There is no garden near by or ability to plumb it in anywhere.

Does anyone have a suggested solution other than putting a bucket underneath to collect the water?

I tried putting a pot plant but the volume of water isn’t ideal conditions for the Yukka I had out there 😂

I’m about to install a second aircon in the bedroom and the condensate pipe will likely flow into the carport - again, no plumbing options or garden,

Very keen to find a solution for both areas 🤞🏼

It sounds like the best approach would be to consult an air conditioning specialist to see if a conduit could be run along the wall to a more suitable drainage point. If there's enough fall, you might be able to direct it towards the next corner of the house.

Is there any way the pipe could be run down the wall and then extended out towards the front of the property? Pipes can sometimes be run under concrete or paving to a better drainage location.

If redirecting the water isn’t an option, you could consider placing a larger trough-style planter with plants that can tolerate high moisture levels. Something like ferns, umbrella plants, or even a small reed bed might work better than a yucca, which prefers drier conditions.

I’ve got an air con specialist coming to check it this week. If they can’t resolve it, that is an excellent solution- thank you!
