A little over 12 months ago (April 2024) I put up two sets of these festoon lights. They have worked perfectly, but have suddenly stopped. I have changed the batteries in the remote. Checked the plug which shows a little blue light for the receiver. As I bought two sets, I had a spare plug so tried swapping it. No luck. I have checked each bulb (as I have two spares), and when I push each of the filament bulbs slightly I can see a small glow. This stops as soon as stop the pressure.
Any ideas?

Hello @Boogietommo
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your LED party lights.
I'm sorry to hear that your LED lights are not working properly. Since you've already done most of the basic trouble shooting steps, I can only suggest checking if your lights are still under warranty. If it still is under warranty, please bring your docket or bank statement back to the store where you purchased the lights from, this will help the customer service team track down your purchase. You can also consult the electrical product specialist at the store. My only other suggestion is trying to plug the unit into another socket just to make sure that the current wall socket is working properly.
Let me call on our experienced members @CSParnell and @MikeTNZ for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi @Boogietommo,
Try this... you may need extension lead.
Assuming the power adaptor is plugged into Set-1.
Go down to where Set-1 connects to Set-2 and disconnect them.
Plug power adaptor into Set-2 does that work.
If not swap power adaptors, does Set-2 work.
Let us know.
Cheers
Hey @Boogietommo they need to be re-synced to the the app.
Turn them off and on again, make sure you have the Magic Home App.
Load the app and follow the instructions to sync to it and once the device says connected you can adjust the colour, brightness, scene and then that should hold it in that state again.
Hope that helps and fixes it for you.
Thank you to everyone who responded. Last night I thought I would check the main power source, which was via an extension lead. I decided to swap the extension lead out, and hey presto - lights back on!
Thanks again for everyone's advice.
Great result @Boogietommo!
I'd bin that extension lead as if it's only providing power intermitently, there's likely a serious internal problem with it. Please don't try to use it again and dispose of it.
Mitchell
agreed! Thanks MitchellMc
Hi @Boogietommo,
With a strong electrical & electronics background for any extension lead used outside always I recommend this.
Arlec Single Outlet Safety Switch
And this Arlec IP44 Outdoor Safety Box
Please note extension cords are intended for temporary use for example with corded garden power tools or mowers.
Draping a cord across a structure like a patio or pergola is considered permanent and deemed illegal... just saying.
Cheers
Thanks - good advice. All my external power is under my deck and sealed, but I think a safety box is a good added precaution.
Thanks
